About our salary estimates
Reference data: Czech Statistical Office 2025 · minimum wage 2026
When an employer leaves the salary out, we may show an estimated gross monthly range marked with “~”. It is a rough guide, not an offer from the employer. A salary stated in the ad itself always takes precedence and is never overwritten by an estimate.
The official data we use
The estimate is anchored to Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ) data for 2025: the whole-economy average gross monthly wage (52,202 CZK), the median (44,337 CZK), the median by CZ-ISCO occupation class and the average wage by CZ-NACE sector. The floor is the statutory minimum wage in force from 1 January 2026 (22,400 CZK per month).
How the estimate is derived
A language model is given the job title, its description, the employer and the official figures above. It decides which CZ-ISCO class the role belongs to, starts from that class median and adjusts for seniority, the employer and any pay signal in the text. The estimate never falls below the minimum wage, and implausible values (for example in euros, or yearly instead of monthly) are discarded. If the model declines, a fixed ±15% band around the typical pay of the employer’s sector is used.
What it is not
The figure is not an offer from the employer and carries no guarantee, so read it as a rough guide. When an employer states a salary, we show exactly their figure.
