Mobile Test Automation Engineer for George (Digital Banking)

Partner closely with developers throughout the entire user story lifecycle to deliver high-quality, market-ready software every Sprint. Design and maintain structured, comprehensive test cases that ensure outstanding product quality. Execute and enhance automated mobile tests using open-source tools such as Appium, preventing defects before they reach production. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that contributes to overall engineering excellence. Work within Agile Scrum teams alongside developers, business analysts, and product experts. Collaborate across the Erste Group network, connecting with colleagues in Prague and Vienna. Travel to Vienna once per quarter for in-person collaboration with international teams. What we're looking for: 4+ years of experience in software development and QA, with strong knowledge of QA methodologies. Solid object-oriented programming skills in Kotlin or Java. Hands-on experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Appium. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to assess testing outcomes independently. Passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with an openness to feedback. Strong understanding of industry trends and QA best practices.
